Pastor Jim Baughman

Pastor Jim Baughman and his wife, Elaine,

and their children were called to Bethel Baptist

Church in June of 2003. They have been blessed

with four children: Joshua, Christina,

Zachariah, & Stephanie.

 Pastor Jim was born in the hills of Kentucky

into a missionary pastor's home, and

accepted Christ as his personal Savior

when he was six years old.

After beginning his career as a mechanic,

God called him to preach the gospel in 1988.

He prepared for the ministry at Faith Baptist

Bible College, and has been in the ministry

for eight years in Ohio and Iowa.

and excitement that exists at Bethel Baptist

Church and look forward to seeing God work in

great ways as we serve the Lord in Pierceton."

"My heartbeat for ministry is to preach, teach,

train, and live out the message of the

transforming power of the all-sufficient Word of

God. My goal in ministry is to build up the

families and believers of Bethel Baptist Church

to live a Christ-like life, to Glorify God and

please the Father in everything they do, by

fulfilling the Great Commandment and the

Great Commission."
